The best application adjudged by our panel will win a cool Toshiba Tablet PC. 1 Smartphone each will be given away for the best applications in the following categories:

- Most innovative Indic Enabled Web application
- Best Application Documentation or Tutorial for the Submitted Application
- Best Indic Enabled Software Application
- Most Innovative Office application (using VSTO, Smart Doc, InfoPath application)
- The Wildcard – An application that displays excellence in any other aspect other than those mentioned above.

Evaluation Criteria:
Listed below are the criteria our judges will use to evaluate your Indian Language Applications. As you conceive and design your new application, always keep this framework in mind. We advise you to print these and post them as a reminder to guide your efforts.

The evaluation of the application will be based on the following factors:
a) Originality of idea
b) Speed and stability of application
c) Innovative use of Microsoft products in the overall solution.
d) Complexity of the technologies used

Eligibility:
The contest is open for students (pursuing under graduate/post graduate) courses in institutes in India (working professionals are not eligible to participate).

Applications that will not be considered are
- Non-Unicode based
- Without source code
- Fonts
- Not specific to Indic

The final submission must reach us by courier on or before 20th May 2005, 12:00 noon IST. Please ensure that a print out of the declaration form (generated while submitting your entry) duly signed is attached with your entry.
