1 typeface (having 4 fonts) for Tamil

In addition to the standard Latha typeface that ships by default with Office XP, we are providing an additional Tamil typeface, taken from a nationally reputed vendor.

This typeface will be available as a standard OpenType/Unicode typeface. Users will be able to simply copy them into their Fonts folders and then access them from within any application. Any text created in Latha will be readily and accurately convertible to this typeface (akin to typing in Times Roman and converting to Arial).

Typewriter keyboard for Tamil

Along with the Inscript keyboard that comes as a default with Office XP, the popular Typewriter keyboard is also available. This keyboard will sit atop our Uniscribe algorithm so that users even while entering data through the Typewriter keyboard, will have all the conjunct/half-char/auto-correct facilities available.

The Typewriter keyboard will be available as an independent exe, which once run, will install an icon in your task bar, through which the keyboard will be invoked.

Tamil 99 keyboard for Tamil

Along with the Inscript keyboard that comes as a default with Office XP, there is also the Govt. standard Tamil 99 keyboard.

The TamilNET keyboard will be available as an independent exe, which once run, will install an icon in your task bar, through which the keyboard will be invoked.

Transliteration IME for Tamil

A number of users would like to enter text in English through a standard QWERTY keyboard and have that text be automatically converted to Tamil. This facility is provided through a special Transliteration IME that you will be able to use in any Office application.

The IME keyboard will be available as an independent exe, which once run, will install an icon in your task bar, through which the keyboard will be invoked.
