In Tamil language, there are more than 100 Font families with different font layouts. In addition, there are more than 10 keyboard layouts to type. So one can imagine number of problems that will arise because of Font and Keyboard layouts. Any person who is familiar with one keyboard layout cannot type in the other layouts even in his own language. A text typed in a particular font cannot be viewed legibly in other font families. Therefore, the transfer and interaction between these font families is remained impossible before the arrival of Viruppapadi. Now this software can resolve all these problems even it can create ways for keyboard and font layout unity. Using Viruppapadi, one can edit a document, without bothering about the font and the keyboard that the document typed. That is he can edit the document with the same font with a keyboard known to him. This works on the all of the available software like (MS-Office, Corel Draw, PageMaker...). Though this facility is said to be the principle function of the software, there are several other wonderful functions available in the software.
