I downloaded the Marathi LIP from Bhasha India and was trying to install it. Whenever I run the MSI file, it gives me an error saying "Please Validate Windows" etc. Upon clicking the link, it takes me to the Microsoft website which says activation is successful, you may now use genuine microsoft programs. I am using Microsoft Word 2003 with Hindi enabled. I have a long document with combined Hindi (Mangal, 12 pt) and English (TNR, 12 pt) text split mainly up into columns. The spacing between the Mangal words is much larger than the spacing between the English words. When I backspace over one of these larger spaces between the Hindi word and then re-insert the space, it comes back in normal, with the slightly raised, normal formatting dot and looks normal too. Normally, a code page is implicitly assigned to each language whose support is installed and the system uses that code page when "talking" with a non-Unicode application.
