To enable your machine to accept and display Indic language characters:
1.
On your Windows Desktop, click on the
Start
button and go to the
Control Panel
.
2.
On the
Control Panel,
click on the
Regional and Language Options
icon.
Regional and Language Options
3.
On the
Regional and Language Options
dialog box, go to the center tab,
Languages
, and select the check box for
Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)
. You may need the Windows installation CD to complete this operation.
Indic language support including Bangla is now enabled on your machine.
To Enable Bangla IME
To enable keyboard support for Bangla on your machine:
1.
On your Windows Desktop, click on the
Start
button and go to the
Control Panel
.
2.
On the
Control Panel
, click on the
Regional and Language Options
icon.
3.
On the
Regional and Language Options
dialog, go to the center tab,
Languages
, and click on the
Details
button.
The Text Services and Input Languages
dialog is displayed.
4.
Click on the
Add
button. The
Add Input Languages
dialog box is displayed.
5.
From the Input Language: drop down list box, select the language of your choice and click
OK
. This language is added to your Installed Services list on the Text Services and Input Languages dialog.
With this the language of your choice is enabled in your computer.
