| To enable your machine to accept and display Indic language characters: |

On your Windows Desktop, click on the Start button and go to the Control Panel. |

On the Control Panel, click on the Regional and Language Options icon. |

On the Regional and Language Options dialog box, go to the center tab, Languages, and select the check box for Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai). You may need the Windows installation CD to complete this operation. |

| Indic language support including Bangla is now enabled on your machine. |

| To enable keyboard support for Bangla on your machine: |

On your Windows Desktop, click on the Start button and go to the Control Panel. |

On the Control Panel, click on the Regional and Language Options icon. |

On the Regional and Language Options dialog, go to the center tab, Languages, and click on the Details button. The Text Services and Input Languages dialog is displayed. |

Click on the Add button. The Add Input Languages dialog box is displayed. |
| 5. |
|
From the Input Language: drop down list box, select the language of your choice and click OK. This language is added to your Installed Services list on the Text Services and Input Languages dialog. |

| With this the language of your choice is enabled in your computer. |
