Adobe to introduce PDF reader in Hindi |
| Adobe Systems is in the process of developing a Portable Document Format reader in Hindi. The company is also expected to increase its workforce in India by 300 people over the next 12 months. |
Adobe has also planned to open a business unit at Bangalore. The firm's recently acquired Macromedia and its development centre in Bangalore will be used by Adobe for product development along with print and classic publishing unit. |
Adobe, which has products in the price range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000, is planning to check piracy levels by introducing products in the lower price range. |
Adobe’s India operations account for less than 0.5 per cent of the company’s worldwide revenues as 90 per cent of its products are pirated. Lower piracy rates could double the company’s revenues from India. |
